Sayonara Orthopedics

Hi Guys!

4 months seem running so fast.
Feeling like just started this posting but actually I've made it!
Haha alhamdulillah wa syukrulillah.

Early days in Orthopedics, I was so blur, like I'm totally in a different world.

With the new environment with surgical-based posting, do and dons in OT, how to post case to anaest so we can proceed the emergency operation, how to request for quotation, socso yada yada.

Somemore with the xrays, CTs an MRIs, how to diagnose open fracture, how to apply slab and cast, apply traction in the middle of night, goshhh seriously need to learn fast to catch all this thing.

First 2 weeks, after my tagging period (compulsory 2 weeks tagging for new appoint HO in each new posting which need us to stay back until 10pm everyday with 1 off-day) I can diagnose Compartment Syndrome by myself! Haha one of my friend back then screamed and suspiciously tell me, "this patient shouted for pain since morning, but no sign or symptom of Compartment present!" Suddenly we noted that patient developed blisters over his leg and yeah, we informed MO and case posted for emergency fasciotomy! How cool is that hahaha

Other freaking legend story, until now no body beats me for the longest duration in OT. Me, my 2 MOs and superlegend Specialist had almost 24 hours in Trauma OT, done multiple procedure in a polytrauma patient. Done plating over distal radius/ulna, over epicondyle, over acetabular wall and tibia/fibula. It was my first OT though. Chekidaut our moment in my gramm!

So many things happened, good or bad, it was for me, my experience to become a good and save doctor. Thank God most of my superiors are the nicest people I ever had, of course I will remember all these nice people. May ALLAH Bless them.

Today marking my last day in Orthopedic. Me and my few friends held a little brunch party for all in Orthopedics as token of appreciation. Done MCQ exam too. Super susah, master paper for god sake! Hahaha but otherwise surely I will miss Orthopedics and its 'component'!

oh well.

Welcome Obs & Gynae.
Welcome to another hormonal department.
Hoping for the best.
Until the end.

xoxo
